TRLP Class I Legacy Project - Multimedia Recruiting Presentation
 

Purpose

To work together as a team to create and develop a Legacy Project that will benefit CCAR and/or our community by utilizing the combined resources, talents and skills of the members participating in the 1st Class of the Texas Realtors® Leadership Program.

 

Mission

To reach, recruit, educate and empower CCAR members for leadership roles at the local, state and national levels. 

 

Goals/Objectives

·         To identify and develop individuals as leaders.

·         To promote the benefits of the TRLP.

·         To complete the Legacy Project before Graduation. 

 

Strategies

·         To create and produce a video presentation to promote interest in TRLP.

·         To distribute Legacy Project compact discs and make appearances before CCAR members to encourage participation in TRLP.

·         To recommend participants for the 2007 TRLP class.

·         To volunteer at the local, state and national levels.

 

Conclusion

Fulfill the mission of CCAR’s 1st Class of the Texas Realtors® Leadership Program by marshaling the skills learned into a Legacy Project multimedia presentation; distribute the presentation materials and appear before CCAR members to encourage volunteerism; identify and recruit the 2007 Class participants and facilitate their education and empowerment as leaders through participation in TRLP for the benefit of CCAR at the local, state and national levels.

 

TRLP Class II Legacy Project - Recruiting for TRLP Class III
 

Goal = 44 Applicants

(2 applicants per TRLP Class II member)

 

              How to Recruit Applicants
    1. Invite prospects to our graduation
    2. Encourage office colleagues to apply
    3. Recruit anyone that you feel would be great for the class
    4. Promote TRLP by announcing at networking meetings, WCR meetings, etc.
    5. View last year’s video to see if we want to use it for presentation at graduation
    6. Scholarships:  There are many available through CCAR Affiliate Committee, WCR Members, etc.  Applicants should know about opportunities, but may need to be reminded upon turning in application
    7. Get Alumni involved
    8. Create Interest Card for Tables at CCAR:  Interest cards will have space available to put contact information and sign up space, so that they can be contacted about TRLP
    9. Create uniform “pitch” so that all networking meetings hear same information
 
TRLP Class III Legacy Project
 
1.  Go Green Campaign
  • Implement at association level first
  • Education membership through presentations at networking meetings
  • As a result, Collin County Association of REALTORS won two "Green" awards:
    • The City of Plano Environmental Star of Excellence Award
    • The North Texas Corporate Recycling Association's 2008 Civic/Non-Profit Sustainability Green Award
2.  Voter Registration Drive
  • Class III participants were deputized to serve at Volunteer Deputy Registrars at Session 2 at Frisco City Hall
  • Announcement made to membership to register to vote
  • Participants held an all-day voter registration drive and registered 66 voters, as well as registered voters individually in the weeks before the election.
